Enrico Proietti
Creative Europe Desk italia
Promotion and Communication Officer at the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture. An expert in the subject of ‘Legislation on Cultural Heritage’ at Sapienza University of Rome, he has had various experiences as a trainer. After a long career in various sectors of the MiC and a scientific activity on cultural heritage issues, he is currently Project Officer in the Creative Europe Desk Italy, thus dealing with the promotion of that programme and technical assistance to Italian entities applying to its calls for proposals for the ‘Culture’ and ‘Intersectoral’ strands.
Morena Rizzo
Project Designer and Financial Manager- Responsible for EU Grants, Fundraising and Networking at University of Palermo- Inclusion, Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality Sector.
More than 20 years of experience in assisting public and private organizations in accessing public and private international funding for Research, Innovation and Training, Awareness raising and public/private participation. She has worked for public bodies (EU Projects Office – Roma Tre University) and private organizations (Prodos Consulting, CEO of Obiettivo Europa, PNO Consultants, Ciaotech Srl, Arpes Srl) managing the entire project cycle within the following programmes: Horizon Europe, H2020, Erasmus+, , Justice, CERV, Europaid. Responsible, from conception to implementation, of various workshops and projects to facilitate access to funding instruments for research and innovation, encouraging meetings between different sectors of society. She has held a series of international online and in-person training seminars relating to European Project design and management. She teaches “Project Cycle Management for Social Innovation” within the “Migration, Rights, Integration” Msc. Course at the Law Department, UNIPA
Oleksandra Khalepa
Alexandra Khalepa is an architect, art researcher, founder of Carbon Art Residency and curator of the Carbon Community, as well as coordinator of over 200 events aimed at revitalizing 3 sites in Kyiv, Ukraine. She launched a series of labs on new media art, sound art and performative practices. She is doing a doctorate at the Research Institute of Modern Art, with the following subject: Integration of industrial monuments in the cultural and artistic space of Ukraine. She is also project manager of an international residency at Izolyatsia, Platform for Cultural Initiatives.
Tanya Stadnyk
Director of Operations at Music Export Ukraine (MEU)
In 2020-2023, Tanya served as a Project Manager at MEU, where she developed and launched several projects, including the Eastern European Music Academy (EEMA), a 12-week music business capacity-building project for young professionals from Eastern and Central Europe, and the Baltic states. Since 2020, MEU has run 5 iterations of EEMA, trained 280 music professionals from 15 countries, released 1 collaborative EP (extended play), engaged 9 international partners and 15 world-class experts, organised 4 delegations of music professionals to international music business events in Romania, Slovenia, Greece, and Germany.
Previously, Tanya served as Head of Non-Profit Development at 42 Prague, a non-profit coding institute, establishing operational processes and donor relations, and as Secretary-General at Youth and Environment Europe, a network of environmental youth organisations, where she expanded the organisation’s capacity and secured funding.

Andrea Murzi
Project Officer at the European Music Council (EMC)
He is in charge of event production for the EMC yearly conference, the European Forum on Music (EFM), and other smaller events. He coordinates the EMC Fellowship Programme, which offers emerging professionals in the field of music an opportunity to internationalise their career and develop professionally. He also supports the implementation of EU-funded projects, notably MusicAIRE, SHIFT, and MOST. He is part of the EMC Green Team, which develops the Sustainability Policy and implement the SHIFT eco-guidelines to minimise the network’s ecological footprint and meet the standards of the SHIFT eco-certificate.
Gianmaria Le Metre
Lawyer at the Court of Bologna, working in the field of intellectual property, in particular copyright.
After graduating from the University of Catania with a thesis entitled “Private copying of phonograms and videograms and technological protection measures”, he obtained a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law at the Just Legal Services (Milan).
He acts both in and out of court for authors, composers, artists, publishers and record and film production companies, both in Italy and abroad.
In addition to his legal practice, he also has an intense teaching activity in the field of music business and writes articles for publishing houses and trade journals.
Since 2017, he has collaborated with A.P.S. Note Legali as a legal consultant and trainer in the field of copyright and related rights.
He has participated in technical tables and followed the creation of the Coordination of Musicians’ Associations (C.A.M.).
Fanny Bouquerel
Advisor, trainer, evaluator, project manager.
Works as an independent adviser, trainer and project manager. She is a professeure associée at the European Studies Institute, University Paris 8. Her areas of expertise and research are cultural policies and the EU action for culture; arts and cultural professionals’ careers; mobility and international cooperation in Europe and the Mediterranean. Since 2020, she is in charge of the Roberto Cimetta Fund’s development.
Mark Dieler
Sicily Music Conference
Mark Dieler, Latvian-Sicily based German-Italian from Ranco (Italy), has been working internationally since 1998, of which 10+ years spent on the African continent.
With a background of activism and interest in social change, he has worked on numerous projects between hospitality and events involving both underground and top-tier artists and locations.
Due to the decade spent in East Africa he has a particular interest in the continent.
He continues producing events and tours, cooperates with In Place of War, Tallinn Music Week, Sicily Music Conference, Trans Europe Halles, Dirty Deal Audio, Lona Musik, Paavli Kultuurivabrik and other organizations.
With a strong belief in the power of collaboration, he project manages Cindy & Kate, a collaborative and trust-basedgrassroots network supported by the Nordic Culture fund, that brings together independent Baltic promoters, cultural spaces, and artists.
A current focus is the establishment of an artist residency space in Sicily, where he spends as much time as possible.
Luca Jacob
CEO of the Berlin based independent creative company Piranha Arts.
Operating both locally and globally with events such as Karneval der Kulturen and WOMEX- World Music Expo. Previously he co-founded Wolf Kino in Berlin in 2017, while steadily engaging as producer and curator at the intersection between music and film. Luca is also involved in the fields of social activism and human rights, with a focus on Afghanistan. Most lately he has been engaging as guest lecturer at the Berlin University of Arts (UDK) in the fields of funding and financing within the German cultural landscape.
Milan Tesar
The secretary of the World Music Charts Europe from November 2020
After short episodes in a students’ radio programme and in a local commercial radio, Milan started in 1995 in Radio Proglas, Brno, Czech Republic. Since that year, he´s been working there as the music director. Alongside other shows, he prepares his weekly programme “Slyste, lide!” (Hear, People), concentrated on interesting topics from world music, jazz, blues, folk or alternative music. He manages and (with some help of his colleagues) presents the daily show “Jak se vam libi” (As You Like It) – interviews with bands, musicians, organizers of festivals, musicologists etc. (world music, jazz, blues, folk…). He has also a regulary monthly programme in a Czech public radio (the station Czech Radio Jazz). He regulary prepares music reviews and interviews for printed and internet magazines in Czech republic (UNI cultural magazine, Harmonie monthly, Catholic Weekly, Brno Friendly City web site) and Poland (Twój Blues magazine). Member of musical juries in world music, jazz, blues etc. domains.
Since 2023, he has been the program director of the Brno Music Marathon festival in Repubblica Ceca.
In June 2024 became program director and co-owner of Radio Proglas.
Daina Zalāne
Board Member of European Folk Network
Daina Zalāne (b. Zvidriņa) born in Germany, lived in Bremen and graduated from the Latvian Gymnasium in Münster/Westf. Moved to Latvia in 1994, studied at the Latvian Academy of Culture Intercultural Relations between Latvia and Great Britain. Received an MA in Arts Management at City University in London, U.K. Translates both oral and written Latvian German English.
From 2001 to 2006 worked at the Latvian National Opera in the International Relations and Development department, in 2005 moved to the Production department. Since 2006 worked at the Commercial department of an international construction company. Since 2010 she provides consultancies in project management and bookkeeping for arts and non-governmental organizations. Used to sing at the folklore group “Savieši”. Daina also serves as a member of the board of the European Folk Network.
Veronika Vajda
is a project manager at the Budapest based music hub, Hangvető.
She graduated as an ethnomusicologist with an interest in the music cultures of Central Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus. Since joining Hangvető’s team, she has worked as a project manager on large-scale international projects supported by Creative Europe such as MOST – The Bridge for Balkan Music and UPBEAT – The European Showcase Platform for World Music. Veronika was also the member of the production team behind BALKAN:MOST festival in Veszprém, European Capital of Culture 2023. The common mission of these projects is the support and capacity building of emerging artists active in the world and folk music scene.

Tami Toledo Matuoka is a multifaceted professional in the music industry with diverse skills, including producing, tour management, public relations, social media management, project management, and mentoring for both emerging and established musicians.
Additionally, she currently serves as a project manager at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam, where she is actively involved in the European Union project ‘Better Live’ which focuses on music and sustainability. She plays a crucial role in creating opportunities for a more sustainable approach to artist touring.

Maurizio Cuzzocrea
